Went to Gawthorpe Hall with some friends to see Bolton Progressive Threads textile art exhibition.
The hall is owned by the National Trust and has a fantastic Embroidery collection, both historical and present day. Even if you are not a stitcher it is fantastic to see.
Sorry could'nt take any photo's, but go and have a look for yourselves. Take a picnic and sit in the beautiful grounds or like us have lunch in the tearooms.
Bolton Progressive Threads exhibition is on until 30th October
