The talented crafters at Sunnybank Day Centre designed and made these colourful hand held fans
(great for ladies of a certain age)
1.On a piece of thick card draw round a side plate then cut out the shape.
2. Using a light coloured paper cut as many strips as you need for your design. Don't worry if they overlap the edge you can cut it down after.
3. Use a glue stick to attach them to the card.
4. Now the fun part stick on the flowers in any pattern/design you like best. Don't forget the back as well.
5. Now with two lolly sticks put double sided tape up one side of each stick. Peel back the tape and put one stick on one side of the fan and lining the other up on the other side seal them together.
YOU'LL NEED YOUR FAN NOW TO KEEP YOU COOL AFTER ALL THAT HARD WORK.
