A friend of ours thought she had got away with not telling us that she was 70 the other day, but what she did'nt realise, is that we are Miss Marple, Cagney & Lacey, Sherlock Holmes and all the other sleuths rolled into one and through some very good detective work (peering through her front window while she was out and seeing the give away 70 on her cards) we have found out and are not going to let her get away with her little deception.

So we have a secret birthday lunch planned and I made this lavendar bag using offcuts of fabric, a lace trim I picked up in an antique centre in Hebden Bridge and an old button.
